The Singapore-Suzhou Township Development

Developed in 1994, Suzhou Industrial Park (SIP) is a joint project by the Chinese and Singapore governments conceived for the island city state to share her lessons in economic development. The thriving SIP offers industrial and commercial facilities complete with social amenities such as housing, schools and recreational centres.

Today, some 900 companies, including multinationals are based in the SIP to tap the mammoth China market.

Lum Chang is one of the 24 shareholders of the Singapore consortium, The Singapore-Suzhou Township Development (SSTD), co-investor of the SIP. Lum Chang was also involved in the construction of the 70 square kilometre park.
