Disposal of Interests in Subsidiaries

Lum Chang Orion Pte Limited, a wholly-owned subsidiary of Lum Chang Holdings Limited announce its disposal of 11,400,001 ordinary shares in Pembridge Palace Holdco Limited (“PPHL”), representing 100% of the total issued share capital of PPHL. 

PPHL and its wholly-owned subsidiary, Pembridge Palace Propco Limited (“PPPL”) are special-purpose companies incorporated in Jersey, Channel Islands. PPPL owns the freehold interest in a hotel located at 52 to 57 Princes Square W2 4QB.
Investment in Pavo Holdings Pte Ltd

The Group today announced the investment in Pavo Holdings Pte Ltd (“PHPL”), a private limited company incorporated in Singapore. PHPL will act as a joint investment vehicle through which the Company will explore and possibly undertake investments in China.
Completion of Acquisition of all the Shares in Corwin Holdings Pte Ltd

The Group announced that the acquisition of all issued and paid-up share capital of Corwin Holding Pte Ltd was completed on 15 November 2016.
Incorporation of New Subsidiaries

Lum Chang Holdings Limited today announced the incorporation of Kelaty Leaseco Limited (“KLL”), a wholly-owned subsidiary in Jersey, Channel Islands. KLL’s principal activity will be of a property development project at Kelaty House. 


Lum Chang Holdings Limited also announced the incorporation of Lum Chang Development Services Limted (“LCDS”), a wholly-owned subsidiary in the United Kingdom. LCDS’s principal activity will be to provide development services for development property projects at Kelaty House.

Lum Chang Awarded S$325 Million Contract by the Land Transport Authority for Addition and Alteration Works to Existing Tanah Merah Station and Existing Viaducts

LCBC has secured a tender for the addition and alteration works to the existing Tanah Merah Station and existing viaducts. The Contract valued at S$325 million was awarded by the Land Transport Authority.

The scope of works for the project includes the construction of an additional platform and concourse in Tanah Merah Station along with two entrances linked by an underpass near the Tanah Merah Kechil Avenue intersection, and related road and drainage works. It also includes the addition of tracks and viaducts to run parallel to the existing EWL, reception tracks connecting to, and forming junctions with the EWL, and connections to the new depot.

The date of completion is expected to be in 2024.
Proposed Acquisition of all the Shares in Corwin Holding Pte Ltd

The Group announced the proposed acquisition of all issued and paid-up share capital of Corwin Holding Pte Ltd.

Corwin Holding Pte Ltd’s principal asset is a leasehold commercial development known as The Verge. The consideration payable for the proposed acquisition is S$190 million. 
Joint Venture between Tucana Investments Pte Ltd and LAO V Serangoon Pte Ltd

The Group’s wholly-owned subsidiary, Tucana Investments Pte. Ltd. entered into a shareholders’ agreement with LAO V Serangoon Pte. Ltd. in relation to a 50 : 50 joint venture in Dorado Holdings Pte. Ltd. The joint venture is for the proposed acquisition of the entire issued and paid-up share capital of Corwin Holding Pte Ltd.

Corwin Holding Pte Ltd’s principal asset is a leasehold property which is an 8-level shopping mall building comprising 6 storeys and 2 basement levels and another 8-storey building known as Chill @ The Verge. The entire commercial development is known as The Verge. The property is located at No. 2, Serangoon Road, Singapore 218227 and has a total gross floor area of 238,527 square feet.
Lum Chang Awarded Contract To Construct New High-Specification Industrial Building And Implement Asset Enhancement Works At Boon Keng Road And Kallang Place

LCBC has secured a tender for the construction of a high-specification industrial building located at the junction of Boon Keng Road and Kallang Place. The contract valued at $60.8 million was awarded by DBS Trustee Limited as Trustee of Mapletree Industrial Trust.

The scope of work for the project includes the construction of a fourteen-storey multi-user high-specification building with two-storey carpark. Construction works, including upgrading works for three existing buildings, commenced in August 2016 and will be carried out in seven phases. The project is slated for completion in February 2018.

 

Joint Venture with Tien Wah Properties Sdn Bhd

The Group signed an agreement with Tien Wah Properties Sdn Bhd to jointly acquire and develop land at Petaling Jaya in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.  

The leasehold industrial land measures approximately 13,040 square metres and the joint venture partners intend to develop a mix-use commercial property.
