Lum Chang secured a SGD128 million building works contract by the Housing & Development Board

LCBC was awarded a SGD 128 million building works contract at Admiralty Integrated Development at Woodlands Neighbourhood 6 Contract 26 by the Housing & Development Board. The scope of the contract includes public housing, medical centre, hawker centre, commercial/social communal facilities with two-level basement carpark and other contingency works. The target date of completion is expected to be in the first half of 2017. 
Lum Chang increased its shareholding in Kemensah Holdings Pte Ltd

Lum Chang has acquired the remaining 49% stake in Kemensah Holdings Pte Ltd raising its holding to 100%.

Lum Chang will fully own two subsidiaries belonging to Kemensah - Fabulous Range Sdn Bhd and Venus Capital Corporation Sdn Bhd - which were set up to develop residential properties in Sungai Long and Kemensah in Malaysia.

Lum Chang secured a SGD87 million design and construction contract to build a Six-Storey Ramp-up Warehouse by HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited (Trustee of Mapletree Logistics Trust)

LCBC was awarded a SGD 87 million contract for the design and construction of a six-storey ramp-up warehouse at 5B Toh Guan East Road East by HSBC Institutional Trust Services (Singapore) Limited as Trustee of Mapletree Logistics Trust. The scope of the contract includes the design and construction of a six-storey ramp-up warehouse with container parking and ancillary buildings/structures. The contract period is for 18 months and works are expected to commence in August 2014. 
Acquisition of Twin Palms Development Sdn Bhd and Incorporation of Edu Genus Pte Ltd

The Group today announced the acquisition of a wholly-owned subsidiary incorporated in Malaysia, Twin Palms Development Sdn Bhd, for the purpose of property development in Malaysia.

The Group also announced the incorporation of a wholly-owned subsidiary in Singapore, Edu Genus Pte Ltd, where its intended activity will be in preschool education.
