Bishan MRT Depot

PROJECT Description

Construction of an MRT depot at Bishan and training facilities located within a 7,930 square metre administration building.

It was the most extensive single project within the entire MRT system at that point in time. The depot houses the main facilities for storage, maintenance and repair of MRT trains. It is also the focal point for the loading and carriage of equipment on ‘test’ trains running the whole railway track system.
